Origins and Craft
Our made to measure suit program is structured into three tiers, each designed to meet different wants and needs.
Full Bespoke (Japan)
The ultimate in sartorial expression, our bespoke tailored suits are fully handmade in Japan. Cut to a unique bespoke pattern that is drawn by our master tailors, our bespoke tailored suits require 3 -4 fittings to ensure the most refined fit. Production time for our bespoke line is typically 5-6 months. We also offer the option to have a fitting in Tokyo (for a surcharge).

Made to Measure (Japan)
For those who appreciate superior fit, craftsmanship and attention to detail. Handmade in Japan, our premier range of suits are tailored to your measurements and cut to our unique house style. Hand-finished and fully canvassed, they are the ultimate expression of elegance. Production time for our made in Japan line is typically 6-8 weeks.

Made to Measure (China)
Exceptional tailoring meets accessible pricing in our entry-level suiting. Available in full or half canvas construction, each piece is tailored to your measurements to ensure a flawless fit. Cut in high quality Italian fabrics, our entry-level suiting is perfect for young professionals and wedding parties in particular. Production time is typically 4-5 weeks.

How it Works
Step 1
Initial Consult
Schedule a complimentary consultation with one of our expert staff. During this initial appointment we will explore any ideas or inspiration you have and get a full understanding of what you’re looking for.

Step 2
Options and Measurement
Next, we will discuss fabric selection and styling to ensure your garments are suited to your exact needs. We will then go through a comprehensive measuring process that takes into account your sizing, posture and any personal fit preferences you may have.

Step 3
First Fitting
Your garments will be crafted by our tailors and will arrive approximately 4-8 weeks after your order has been confirmed. During the first fitting we assess the balance and fit of the garment and make any final adjustments that may be needed.

Final Fitting & Collection
Once the final adjustments have been made (typically 3-5 days), we make a final check of the fit to ensure you are satisfied with the results. Your garments will then be given a final press and are ready to take home.

Our tailored suit program is offered in three different tiers, with each tier designed to meet different stylistic and budgetary needs. Prices depend on where the suit is made and what fabric the suit is made in. Below are the starting prices for each of our three tailoring tiers:
Made to Measure (China) — starting at $1850
Made to Measure (Japan) — starting at $2995
Full Bespoke (Japan) — starting at $5550
Lead times vary depending on where your suit is made (Japan, Italy or China) and fabric availability. Barring any exceptional circumstances, lead times are normally as follows:
Made in Japan (MTM) — 6-8 weeks
Made in Japan (Bespoke) — 5-6 months
Made in China — 4-5 weeks
We work with three different workshops to craft our tailored suits - each with different benefits.
Japan (MTM) — a small workshop in Kyoto
Japan (Bespoke) — in house in Tokyo
China — a factory outside of Shanghai
We're unique in a number of ways, but when it comes to our suiting, what sets us apart is the construction quality and cut. All of our suits are free from fusing and glue, and our Japanese-made suits are unlike any other in the way they're cut. Working with pattern makers and tailors of the highest order in Japan, we've developed our unique house style. The shoulders have been rotated forwards, creating a clean and sculpted chest, and a more generous back fitting allows for freedom of movement and comfort.
We work with the world's best fabric mills and merchants, and have an extensive fabric collection for you to choose from. Whether you're looking for plains or patterns, lightweight linen or something warm for winter, there are thousands of fabrics to choose from - all available in different colours and compositions. Due to the intimate and personal nature of our tailoring, appointment times can vary. If it's your first time shopping with us, we suggest allowing a minimum of 1 hour. For first fittings and final collections, we suggest allowing 20-30 minutes.
